2025: Our Work For Wales

When looking back at 2025, Trydan is proud to show progress in its mission: to realise 'Power to Prosper', generated in Wales with and for the people of Wales.

A word from our CEO - Richard Evans

“Thank you to everyone who has contributed towards Trydan Gwyrdd Cymru’s work in 2025.

We’ve been working hard on behalf of our owners, Welsh Government, but especially on behalf of the Welsh people, with the launch of three onshore wind projects and one solar project. We have begun building relationships with residents, businesses and organisations local to our projects – we look forward to meeting more of you in 2026. The team, and its expertise, has expanded, and we’ve secured new agreements with multiple companies in our projects’ supply chain – sharing opportunities with Welsh and British businesses.

There have been many highlights for the year – see the video below for some that we thought were truly worth sharing.

Season’s Greetings, and a Happy New Year,

Richard."

Sneak peek into our work in 2026

We're looking forward to acting upon the following:

  • Return to communities, with our revised project designs, having listened to and contemplated feedback
  • Focus upon ecological and environmental surveys across our development projects
  • Initiate discussion regarding benefits that Trydan can deliver for local residents and for Wales as a whole - picking up where we left off with 'Ti', Gyntaf, YOU first!'

Keep an eye out for more detailed plans in the New Year.

Until then, the Trydan team extends its Season's Greetings to you, and wishes you all a Happy New Year.
