This is where you will find details on how you can be part of our supply chain and understand our procurement processes.
Trydan Gwyrdd Cymru (Trydan) is required to follow public procurement regulations. In the UK this changed on 24th February 2025 with the introduction of The Procurement Act 2023. The new system is straightforward, opens up procurement to new entrants and embeds transparency, and a core part of its purpose is to grow the economy.
Trydan aim to :
- deliver value for money;
- maximise public benefit;
- share information for the purpose of allowing suppliers and others to understand the company’s procurement policies and decisions;
- be ambitious in our focus on outcomes, and seek out innovative businesses, many of which will be smaller businesses. We’ll facilitate this through improving access to information and using new and more flexible processes;
- act, and be seen to act, with integrity

The platform has functionality that will allow you to filter your search results. For example, you could filter on types of notices, and this would show you potential opportunities which are of interest. These are a few examples that could be useful.
UK2 – Preliminary Market Engagement Notice – Future Notice.
